The Center for Eating Disorders’ Blog

Our blog is designed to be a place of support and recovery-focused information for individuals with eating disorders as well as a resource for parents, educators and ED treatment professionals.  Our eating disorder specialists often post about various types of eating disorder treatment, current events, evidence-based research, motivational video clips, event announcements as well as everyday tips and tools for recovery.

We also strive to generate community discussion and enhance critical thinking around the current sociocultural messages regarding weight and health, including the media’s role in promoting unhealthy weights and distorted beauty ideals.

Most importantly, we aim to promote positive body image, self-esteem and a healthy, balanced lifestyle for all.

We hope that you’ll find the blog useful and engaging. Your feedback and opinions are very important to us, and we will continue to try to mold this blog into the most useful tool for our readers. Tell us what you like, what you don’t like, and feel free to join in the discussion.

Questions about the blog?  Please feel free to contact us.
